[Quick note] 頻率比大小更重要

Frequency is more important than size
所謂所有困難事都可以拆成好幾件小事來達成。文章雖然在討論工作環境，但這句話大概適用在任何情形吧! 看到這句話當下決定立馬來寫個快速筆記，嘿嘿

1. distress: 令人沮喪的、苦惱的。
distressing facts: 可惜的事、惋惜的事
Ex: One of the most distressing facts about human nature is that we are not particularly good at staying happy for very long.

2. wear off: 逐漸消失
Ex: Positive emotions wear off. 

3. humdrum: 單調、無聊、乏味
Ex: What gets us excited one day can seem humdrum the next.
