plummet (v): 垂直式的下降、急遽的下降

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted more than 1,000 points

plunge(v. or n.): 也常用來形容大幅快速的下降，原意是往某個地方掉下去，例如: 跳到海裡 plunge into the sea; 掉到懸崖 plunge over the cliff;

其他簡單的動詞像drop, fall, sink，都可拿來說明股價"下滑"唷!
