大家有看過電影《搖滾教室》嗎? 在電視上重播過好幾次，主演男主角的喜劇演員Jack Black參加一個慈善活動，到非洲烏干達和一個無家可歸的流浪小孩一起度過一天(Watch highlight on Youtube)。就像很多慈善機構的紀錄片和宣傳片一樣，貧窮國家的生活，我們難以想像。 受影片感動之餘，接著馬上又看另一個TED演講，也是關於如何解決世界貧窮國家的問題，看完之後才了解，解決貧窮不單單是募款到很多的錢就能解決，貧窮問題的根源，早已深入整個國家的體制，沒錢而資源匱乏只是整個問題的一個環節。雖然主題有點沉重，但真是讓人省思的一個演講，賺取眼淚不能解決所有問題，我們還可以做得更多。Give it a try.
看完影片感觸最深的是，解決一個問題的方法，世界上有很多問題，貧窮的落後國家是其中一個，面對一個問題，立馬行動解決很好，Gary也告訴我們統計上可以看到很顯著的成效。但數據不能完全代表事實，而事實上是其實很多國家的貧窮狀況仍停留在原地。想更有效解決問題，必須深入調查了解需要幫助的對象，和整個問題的全貌。如果行動是個開始，了解問題的全貌便是能對症下藥的方法，恐怕也是最難和最關鍵的部分。一但根本問題持續改善，其他努力的效果也會擴大。 So next time, try to get a whole picture of your issues!
